A GLASGOW school has won a national enterprise prize.
A group of 19 pupils from Blairtummock Primary in Easterhouse beat youngsters from all over Scotland in the Blythswood Care Schools Enterprise Challenge.
With an initial stake of £20, they raised £719 to land a place in the Perth final. There, four pupils had to deliver a 10-minute presentation in front of a panel of judges.
Blairtummock’s prize of £350 will be used to fund a special school trip.
The school is due to close in June.
