What do you know about Easterhouse?
Easterhouse is a post-war suburb to the north-east of the city. It was built on land gained from Lanarkshire as part of a boundary expansion of Glasgow before the Second World War. It was the early 1950's when building of the government assisted housing scheme started- with the aim of providing better housing for the people of the east end living in sub-standard conditions.
